Ever since I can remember I've had a love for homes. As a young girl, I would ask to buy home magazines & pour over them for hours. From there I started drawing home plans, was constantly rearranging my bedroom furniture & accessories & when I was old enough, I painted the walls & furniture. To this day I'm a self proclaimed home body.
I attended Kendall College of Art & Design and graduated with honors from the Interior Design program. After graduation I went to work at a family owned furniture store. I enjoyed pushing sofas & pulling rugs around the store to create new vignettes. This is also when I started working with residential design clients. Most clients were looking to redecorate their living rooms & bedrooms, and occasionally asked for help with kitchen & bathroom layouts & selections. Simultaneously, I was the assistant to a designer who took on both residential & commercial projects. While working with this design firm, I also became a LEED Accredited Professional.
I enjoy being a part of the process & working with contractors to create a unique space that reflects your style & the way you live.
When I’m not designing, you can find me at any of my boys’ sporting events, soaking up time at the lake, or curled up with a historical fiction.
